Location
This work can take place In - person/ Remote and Hybrid. There will be some expectation for in- person meetings, site visits to Gartnavel Royal Hospital, but no expectation for working from an NHSGGC desk on a regular basis.
Project
The project is titled "NHSGGC Arts in Public Health Improvement Programme" and will involve developing and designing a new piece of widely accessible communication for the Arts in Health programme. Arts and Health is a topic within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's Corporate Public Health Improvement Programme. For the last eighteen years the Arts in Health programme has systematically promoted and supported development of artists and cultural partners to deliver improvement of population health and wellbeing in Acute Hospital and Community Health Environments; Creative Health in community mental health and wellbeing, staff health, human rights and equalities, green space and cross boundary development of green amenity, music, performance and exhibitions. Current focus is planning targeted input within Public Health areas of challenge.
Outputs
1: Visibility and communication of the Arts and Health programme
2: Work as a co design initiative to enable wider audience learning and understanding about the breadth and depth of the work
3: Potentially the creation a film
