Research Interests:
My doctoral work examines the dramatisation of Virgil in the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, focussing especially on neo-Latin university plays, Marlowe and Shakespeare. As well as plotting a trajectory of Virgilian development in early modern drama, it aims to consider the difference between literary and dramatic modes of imitation.
