Welcome to the 2014-24 SGSAH 10 Year Review. Take this opportunity to read about our developments, activities and achievements from over the past 10 years. EARTH Scholarships are back! This is a unique programme delivered by SGSAH & British Council Scotland that will provide scholarships for environmental Arts & Humanities researchers from around the globe to undertake research placements in Scotland for up to 3 months. Our 2025 EARTH Scholars will harness the unique power of Arts, Humanities & Science to address climate change
Our HEI members cover the whole of Scotland, from the Highlands and Islands to the Scottish Borders. Rooted in Scotland, we are an integral part of Scottish, UK and international civil society. Click to read more about our members.
We work with our core partners to plan and deliver unique training and skills development opportunities, including training, mentoring schemes, internship projects, and leadership programmes.
SGSAH supports and develops PhD research across the full range of Arts & Humanities subjects. From 2021, it has also designated a set of Strategic Themes and Priority Areas. Click to find out more
