Salary: Research & Teaching level 7: £33,574 - £37,768

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the world’s first national graduate school for the arts & humanities, to plan, organise, deliver & review a pilot collaborative doctoral training course. "The Stuff of Research: Material Culture for Doctoral Researchers" (provisional title) aims to support doctoral researchers to access & mobilise Scotland’s collections to enrich their research. The course content will cover practical & theoretical elements relating to material culture & a Steering Group of experts from HEIs & Scotland’s museums & collections sectors will help to advise you on course content.

We’re looking for a proactive & well-organised creative thinker, who is comfortable working independently, as part of our committed & enthusiastic core team in Glasgow, and with colleagues at all levels across our member HEIs & external partners. Experience of working with collections and/or the detailed use of collections for research is essential for this post.

This is a fixed term role in the first instance until 31st January 2017.
