Monday 17th of June

14:00 - 15.30pm

This event has been organised by Dr Sabina Strachan, founder of how2glu.

About this seminar/panel discussion

We will carefully consider what types of knowledge and skills you have to offer, to whom, and what types of ideas, research, expertise or skills you are looking for in exchange and how you would use these to improve the depth and quality of your research as well as your understanding of how your research can generate research impact.

We’ll look at different forms of research impact using arts and humanities examples, and consider ways to increase impact potential. Using graphic tools you will identify opportunities for knowledge exchange relating to your own research and start to map out ideas for shared outcomes, potential partners and beneficiaries. And we’ll look at a range of approaches and solutions to common issues.

Sabina is a consultant, collaboration expert and entrepreneur who founded how2glu in 2018, a consultancy and training provider that helps people work together better to achieve greater impacts (www.how2glu.com). She is a strategist and expert problem solver, who has worked with strategic stakeholders for over 20 years. She works nationally and internationally as a researcher developer and as a development consultant for university training programmes.
